Mané and Roger

Roger and Mane are a delight to learn from!  Their basement studio is warm and cozy, and Mane's lightheartedness is the perfect foil for Roger's critical eye.  Both are very technical and professional, and I appreciated how easily they adapted to my unique dance background, really engaged with my questions, and made me feel like a valued student from start to finish.  I would highly recommend Roger and Mane to anyone in the DMV who is looking to take their WCS to the next level! 

Learning from Roger and Mane has been such a rich experience since both can lead and follow! Their lessons are twice as interesting as their teaching styles, personalities and technique complement each other. Their attention and care for students, their needs and apprehensions create a friendly environment that facilitates learning and helps to mitigate the stress of learning something new, even for the ones like me who are a bit more experienced.

Mane and Roger are the dream team.  We find it very helpful to get instruction from both the leader's and follower's viewpoint. We learn new patterns easily because they break them down step by step and we love their focus on style and technique.
They are patient, kind and enthusiastic.  They love West Coast swing and we love learning it from them.   

My husband and I have taken several dance lessons with Roger and Mané and look forward to many more. They are exceptional teachers: they understand and accept where we want to go with our dancing without pushing us toward where they think we should go, and they have the skill and experience to pinpoint precisely what we need to do to get there. They give advice and direction with grace and clarity. On top of that, their authentic warmth shines through in everything they say and do. I'd highly recommend them but then I'd have to share :)
